With more than 20 years experience in the Australian private equity industry, Alex has been responsible for making, managing and exiting a large number of investments.
Alex had extensive general management and acquisition experience in the UK with Monsanto Chemicals, BTR and Bullough Group, before migrating to Australia in 1980.
In Australia his experience included 6 years of buying and running his own businesses before moving to private equity with BLE Capital where he was a senior investment director. Alex was one of the founding team and subsequently MD of Catalyst Investment Managers which has become a leading MBO specialist responsible for a number of high profile and successful buyouts.
