SIGNIFICANT INVESTOR VISA OVERVIEW
The Kestrel Growth Companies Fund is a S.I. Visa 188C compliant investment, available to all states in Australia.
The Australian Government introduced the Significant Investor Visa Scheme to encourage foreign investment into Australia. The Significant Investor Visa is part of the Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) (Subclass 188) visa and Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) (Subclass 888) visa.
The Significant Investor Visa offers holders the freedom to work in and travel to and from Australia, and also provides immediate family and dependent relatives with full work, travel and study rights.
This temporary visa is a pathway to Permanent Residency (PR), as the visa-holder will be eligible to apply for permanent resident status after residing in Australia for an average of 40 days per year for the term of the visa. The Significant Investor Visa will have an initial term of four years, with two extensions of two years each available.
